Òn Tuesday last one of our volunteer postering teams was erecting posters on Howth Road near St Annes Estate. One man up on the ladder and one holding it; the car with 7 posters in the boot across the road and a few metres up, with the keys in the ignition, ready for the off…

And off it went with two young lads in it who decided to hop in and take their chances with our trusty VW Passat. 

OUCH.

Gardaí were called etc but not a lot could be done. We gleaned some “local knowledge” and went looking for it in Darndale/Belcamp lane, but alas, to no avail.
