“Can the Manager please provide a brief update on progress on Blackheath Park flooding issues following the meeting before Christmas with DCC and local residents?”
Reply:
Assessments have been carried out at a number of properties on Blackheath Park by staff from the City Council Flood Forum and property owners were given copies of the property protection booklet, household plan and community plan at the time of the assessment.
In addition, the Drainage Division is currently examining the drainage layout within the Hospital complex to determine if run-off from the site is having an adverse impact on surrounding properties.
