Pictured is the Montana State Capital building on St Patricks day, with the Irish flag flying as is their tradition.

Still a little bit of snow in March…
It seems the statue is of Thomas Francis Meagher, who was a famous irish immigrant to Montana.
History is torn over whether he was killed on a steamboat on the Missouri river, or if he got too drunk and fell overboard:) Either way he was pretty significant in Montana history.
