Planning Minister Ciaran Cuffe says there no “God given right” for people to build houses in the countryside simply because they were born there.

As somebody who has experience of both rural and urban living I can only conclude :

• The Minister has NO idea what he is talking about when it comes to rural Ireland and settlement patterns
• We’re looking at further divisions between Town and Country if the Greens have their way
• He is extremely religious.
