Picture taken 40 minutes after peak of high tide below – thankfully the south-easterly winds dropped that morning so the flooding was minimal – you can see the debris-line of the high water mark on the grass.

Good job done by Dublin City Council as:

(1) Tide forecasts turned out to be accurate

(2) Communications in the build-up were clear

(3) DCC readiness for the event was visible and obvious.
