Was contacted by a local resident yesterday about a serious case of illegal dumping in Collins Park so called out the Dublin City Council Enviro-Crew.

They removed:

 – 3 mattresses

 – 1 bath

 – assorted paint cans

 – garden waste

– assorted beer bottles and cans

all from the one laneway.

When they arrived up there there was a gent in a blue van in the middle of emptying his van out. They took after him but he managed to scarper with his van.

Remember, fly-tipping is illegal and should be reported to gardai at every opportunity – vehicle type/reg number is important if it can be gleaned.

To the man in the blue van – think twice about coming again because the next time you mightn’t be so lucky…
