Details of Dublin City Council Services Affected by Severe Weather Conditions

Area Offices
Due to issues with the roof (caused by the heavy snow) Kilbarrack Area Office, Greendale Shopping Centre is closed to the public. Full service is available by phone on 222 8540.

Waste Collection Services
Due to the adverse weather conditions and for safety reasons, a comprehensive waste collection cannot be provided at present. Please click here for more details.

Recycling Centres
A number of our bring centres and recycling centres are closed. Please click here for details.

Football Pitches
All Dublin City Council football pitches are unplayable for the week-ending 5th December.

Leisure Centres
Irishtown Stadium, Ballybough Community Centre, Clontarf Pitches, Eastwall Water Sports Centre and Island Bridge Rowing Centre are all closed until Monday 6 December.

Irishtown Stadium Gym Members can use Markievicz Leisure Centre during this time.

Markievicz Leisure Centre is closed at 4pm today but will resume normal operating hours over the weekend.

Ballyfermot Leisure Centre will close at 6pm today but resume normal operating hours over the weekend.

Ballymun & Finglas Leisure Centres will close at 3pm today but resume normal operating hours over the weekend.

St Catherine’s & Clogher Road Sport Centres are operating as usual.
