Once again the figures are pretty stark; there is €1 earned for every €9 spent in Coolock; €1 earned for every €4 spent in Crumlin; €1 earned for every €6 spent in Sean McDermott.
If you take it as a given that certain activities should be subsidized for the needy in society (and I do believe in the case for subsidization) then, as Killian Forde put it previously – the question becomes how best do we spend that subsidy?
