Motion to City Council Area Committee

For the Manager to provide a full report on the removal by Dublin City Council of a decorative stone bearing the estate’s name Collinswood Estate from the Collinswood Estate, Beaumont, report to include:

• The rationale for the removal of the stone by DCC and
• If DCC still have the stone in storage and if so where.

Report from Dublin City Council:

The stone was removed by Dublin City Council at the request of some residents who live adjacent to the said stone.  They were experiencing a huge amount of anti social (congregating) drinking, urinating and generally causing a disturbance at this location.

The stone is now stored in St. Anne’s Park.
