An Open Letter To Fine Gael Members In Dublin North Central

Dear Member,

I write to let you know that I will be seeking a Fine Gael nomination to contest the up-coming general election in Dublin North Central and to look for your support on convention night on 13th December 2010.

That the current Fianna Fáil/Green government has driven the country literally into the ground is long beyond doubt. The real work is about to begin. Fine Gael, leading a fresh government with a new mandate, must set about the difficult job of restoring Ireland’s economy, its international image and indeed our very self-confidence as a nation.

It is my generation who will shoulder most of the burden of work required to set the country on the right path again; parents with young families and large mortgages, doing their best to make ends meet as we restore the national finances over the next 10 years.

I want, in particular, to represent that generation in Dáil Éireann and to work with experienced politicians like Richard Bruton to transform Ireland and to secure national sovereignty once again. I have the energy and dynamism needed to see this job through.

I ask you for your number 1 vote on the 13th of December and hope to see you at the Christmas party on the 11th of December if not before.

Kind regards,

Cllr Naoise Ó Muirí
